In a great followup to the post last week about hitting the triangle from guard, Draculino reviews a second attack to use when the opponent defends the triangle.
Using the same position and collar grip, he now pivots to an armbar attack. Note how he does a few things really well:
- Keeps a deep collar grip to control posture AND to suck him into the armbar
- Positions his top leg up very high on his opponent’s back to keep that posture broken down
- Holds on to the far side arm to keep him from pulling out from that attack as well.
