BJJ Street Fight – Gang Busting

Roger Gracie Student:

A gang of suspected burglars were interrupted, and attacked staff at our building in Croydon.

In self-defence, I used jiu-jitsu to hold the main attacker until the police arrived.

After one and a half years at Roger Gracie’s academy in Ladbroke Grove, London, I earned my blue belt in January, 2010. I took the attacker to the ground and applied a rear naked choke (and a poorly executed body-lock).

I am, by far, the least skilled of all my Brothers at the academy. Thanks so much to everybody for taking the time to roll with me, and to train me !

Without your help, this incident would have had a very unhappy ending.
