BJJ Street Fight – MMA vs Street Fighter

I’m not a big Felony Fights fan, but this video makes valid points for BJJ’s effectiveness off the mats. Shad Smith, an MMA fighter accepts a fight with a street fighter and pounds him. It shows the big difference between a trained fighter and a street fighter.
It also shows that BJJ still works on concrete which is one of the biggest arguments against BJJ in “Teh Streetz”. Not only does bjj still work on concrete, its more likely to hurt your opponent then yourself.

  1. Shad Smith what a coward just an animal. Has to pound the guy when he is finished. A class loser.

    • Actually, in the extended version…Shad stops the fight because he didn’t want to keep punching him when he was in mount. The guy argued with him not to stop, everyone told him not to stop and shad kept saying he’s gonna get hurt…they are fighting on concrete and he is just trying to be tuff for friends.
