One of the most irritating strategies of all time is when someone sits in your closed guard and absolutely refuses to engage with you. They just sit back, don’t let you get your grips, and don’t try to press the match in any way.
Maybe they’re doing this because they’re a couple of points ahead and now just want to stall until the time runs out. Or maybe their only goal is to NOT to get caught in a submission (probably because they want to brag that you couldn’t tap them out).
