This move started off as an intermediate transition from Mount to Side Control. Over the last couple of months my whole school has seen this move transform their games. Something so simple and basic as stepping over the leg can really revolutionize your game. I show two places where this can be really useful but there are even more instances where it shines. My suggestion is to rep it out and then try it and let me know what you think. I use it frequently to get to Side Control after they have started to defend and escape the Mount position.
Thanks for watching!
